August 5, 2012 Meeting

We will be talking about Mountain Lion, Apple’s latest version of OS X, which was released last week.

Dave will also be talking about his experiences setting up VOIP (Voice Over IP) as a replacement for POTS (Plain Old telephone Service). This includes a way to continue using your regular telephones. Oh, and a way to keep the same number even while travelling around the world by using your computer and iPad/iPhone to access the new service.

July 8, 2012 Meeting

For July’s meeting we’re going to discuss online photo sharing sites like Flickr and using Dropbox.  Then, bring your best questions with you as we play our first  game of “Stump Dave and Tom and Google”.  The prizes will be that we (hopefully) answer your questions.  We will also go over the latest Mac news, and answer Mac-related questions as best as we can.
The meeting takes place on Sunday, July 8th, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Patty Bolands, located at 101 Clarence Street.
