With so few of us owning up-to-date Macs to install MacOS X.7 (Lion), Jon has agreed to demo Lion on his shiny new MacBook Air, which I’m sure he’ll gladly talk about as well. We will also go over the latest Mac news, and answer Mac-related questions as best as we can.
The meeting takes place on Sunday the 4th of September, 2011, at 1 p.m. at Patty Bolands, located at 101 Clarence Street.
We hope to see you all there!
It’s summer, and many of the members are going to be out of town during what would be our regular August meeting, so we decided to forego the August meeting and reconvene on Sunday, September 4th, 2011 for a meeting which will cover MacOS X.7 (Lion), as well as a few other “goodies”. More on this on the September 2011 meeting announcement.
In the meanwhile, have yourselves a wonderful month of August, and we’ll see you at the September meeting.
The July meeting will consist of Tom covering the latest incarnation of Final Cut Pro, talking about the differences between the previous and current versions, including the issues that the professional editing community is complaining about all over the Internet. If you have questions pertaining to the product, bring them along and Tom will do his best to answer them.
As well, we will be covering the latest Mac news, including MacOS X.7: Lion which is rumoured to be due out in mid-July, the fall release of iOS 5, iCloud, and anything else that may come up.
And if you have other Mac-related questions or software issues, feel free to bring those along as well.
There’s nothing like a post-Canada Day ByMUG meeting. We hope you’ll all be there.
