For July’s meeting we will continue with using Zoom to host our collectively sheltering-in-place meetings.
We’ll start with Mike reviewing the shiny new Hey.com email apps and service. Ron will bring everyone up to speed on the announcements out of Apple’s recent WWDC event including the upcoming migration from Intel CPUs to Apple Silicon. Dave will lead a discussion about using online services, their privacy implications, and choices we make. Lastly, Tom will continue with his series on video editing in Final Cut Pro X.
Then, we’ll do a quick roundtable of iOS/iPadOS games/apps that have been keeping us distracted this past month, and then, as always, we will also try to answer any other iOS/Mac-related questions as best as we can.
The meeting takes place on Sunday, July 5, 2020, at 1 p.m. and we will send the link & instructions out via the mailing list about fifteen minutes before 1pm on Sunday.
Additionally, we’re pleased to announce that Dave and Tom will be presenting “Tech Café : Connecting With Friends and Coworkers Using Your iPhone or iPad” in co-operation with the Ottawa Public Library on Monday Jul 13, 2020 at 10:00am.
