Hello everyone and happy new year!
For January’s meeting Dave is going to review the Apple news for the past month, Marc will talk about Luminar 2018, Ronald will talk about Net Neutrality, then Tom will talk about the newly released Pixelmator Pro, and he’ll probably sneak in a subtle reminder about checking your backups for the new year.
We will also try to answer any other iOS/Mac-related questions as best as we can.
The meeting takes place on Sunday, January 7, 2018, at 1 p.m. at Patty Bolands, located at 101 Clarence Street.
As usual, all are welcome!
For December’s meeting Marc is going to talk about High Sierra’s Photos.app
update, Tom is going to discuss how to take good photos and video with your iPhone & iPad over the holidays, and then David will demo Jupyter notebooks
– a web application that allows you to create and share documents that contain live code, equations, visualizations and text.
As always, we will also try to answer any other iOS/Mac-related questions as best as we can.
The meeting takes place on Sunday, December 4, 2016, at 1 p.m. at Patty Bolands, located at 101 Clarence Street.
For November’s meeting (November? Already?) we have some great demos! David is going to show Posterino
that makes creating photo collages simple and quick. Marc is going to demo the Plex Media Server
which will let you easily see your media on all your devices. Then Tom will show off the latest version of iStat Menus
the application he uses to keep an eye on the inner workings of his Macs. Lastly Michael will demo his DXO Optics Pro
photo processing workflow.
We will also go over the latest iOS & macOS offerings as well as try to answer any other iOS/Mac-related questions as best as we can.
