For September’s meeting, we are going to be a bit random; we don’t have a specific topic, so bring your questions, app recommendations, and whatever else and we’ll give it a shot. As usual, we will also go over the latest Mac news.
The meeting takes place on Sunday the 2nd of September, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Patty Bolands, located at 101 Clarence Street.
We will be talking about Mountain Lion, Apple’s latest version of OS X, which was released last week.
Dave will also be talking about his experiences setting up VOIP (Voice Over IP) as a replacement for POTS (Plain Old telephone Service). This includes a way to continue using your regular telephones. Oh, and a way to keep the same number even while travelling around the world by using your computer and iPad/iPhone to access the new service.
